Hi there!

My name is Rayven Van Kalker. I graduated in 2019 from UNC Asheville with a BS in Chemistry and BA in New Media. As I was preparing for grad school I decided instead to pursue my dream of storytelling, to help people find the magical realm in our routined lives. My scientific background, however, has gifted me with a penchant for analyzing and solving time sensitive problems, which I now use for story problems! I am currently based in Los Angeles and work as a story artist in the animation and film industry.

When I’m not drawing, I enjoy exploring new places with friends, discovering melodies on the piano, and watching movies. ✨
